The poster for the new film Burlesque, starring Cher and Christina Aguilara, was just released. Now, I love me some Cher and it's been many years since she appeared in a film. But after watching the trailer...
I'm concerned that this movie may turn out to be more "Showgirls" than "Moulin Rouge".
If so, let's hope that Cher has finally figured out how to turn back time and then she can go back and pass on the film before it gets made.
Maybe they should have done a movie about vaudeville. I don't understand. Do these kinds of clubs exist? Do influential people go there to find talent? Is that why young girls come to LA? How long have I been in Palm Springs?
