Very Mary Kate

Photobucket

Photobucket
Actress Elaine Carroll has been starring in and producing Olsen Twins episodes for a while now on her site "Very Mary Kate" and they're pretty funny. This one focuses on a late-night visit to her bodyguard's apartment.

"I pee'd in your elevator. Well, there was no toilet in it."...hilarious!

Here is a little info on Elaine from an interview she did recently...

Few people know the real Mary-Kate Olsen, but actress Elaine Carroll has given the Web the Mary-Kate the world dares to imagine. Carroll’s Mary-Kate has a “normal body temperature of 62,” wonders if heaven is like the Soho House and tweets such intimate secrets as: “my favorite color is clear, my favorite flavor is bland, my favorite food is invisible pie.”

Her version of Mary-Kate grew out of a screen test she did for “Saturday Night Live” two years ago. She loved impersonating the Olsen twins and wanted a way to keep doing them, so she started writing episodes. Each episode takes no longer than an hour to shoot, and Carroll edits them herself.

“You can kind of compare Mary-Kate to Eeyore in ‘Winnie the Pooh,’” Carroll said. “She doesn’t really know what’s going on, does not have it together, trying so desperately to become an independent woman but just does not understand the world in which she lives.”

If you want to see more episodes of "Very Mary Kate", you can watch them here.

Hollywood Hoodlums

Photobucket

If the entertainment industry had a special jail for their "criminals", I'm guessing these kinds of tattoos on the inmates would be all the rage inside the clinck.

I especially enjoy "Promises Malibu Saved My Life" and "I haven't flown commercial since the 90's".

I'm guessing that A&E is already prepping a "Hollywood Ink" series hosted by Jesse James.

Blind-sided

Photobucket

With all of the focus lately on whether Sandra Bullock would divorce her husband or not (it was announced today that she will), it seems that she managed to, miraculously, keep the adoption of a baby completely out of the press.

"Yes, I have filed for divorce," the actress, 45, tells PEOPLE in the latest issue, in which she also reveals she has adopted a son, 3½-month-old Louis.

"He's just perfect, I can't even describe him any other way," Bullock reveals exclusively in the new issue of PEOPLE, announcing that she is the proud mother of Louis Bardo Bullock, a 3½-month-old boy, born in New Orleans. "It's like he's always been a part of our lives."

Bullock says she is now finalizing the adoption as a single parent.

Atta' girl.

With all of the exclusive scoop that they've been given, I have a feeling that this particular issue of People Magazine is gonna sell a butt-load of copies...

Viva Espana!

Photobucket

Kylie Minogue's boyfriend, Andres Velencoso, seems to have opted for a wardrobe-free photoshoot for the Spanish version of Vanity Fair.

Photobucket

She certainly looks happy.

He probably has a wonderful....personality.

"Betty White Lines" video

She definitely has no problem with blue language...

It's one of the many reasons I enjoy her.

McCreepy

Photobucket

It seems that the late Golden Girl left some money to PETA in her will and they decided to use it for this attack on the Golden Arches.

Is she were alive today, I wonder whether she would have agreed to being the poster-child for this particular campaign. They better hope so, cause if she is up there now and not happy out it...

Bea will get you for that, PETA.

Snack Pecs

Photobucket

Seems that Billy Gunnz, a Mister Softee vendor on the streets of New York, has decided to try to increase his business by serving scoops with his shirt off...

Billy typically parks on 39th and Broadway during the day, and is a total sweetheart. Rumor has it he’s investigating doing some special toppings on his truck in the coming weeks. You can follow him and his ice cream truck on twitter@mistersofteenyc.

Perhaps he and another NYC favorite, the Naked Cowboy, should go into business together.

Photobucket

I do hope they keep some flannel undies nearby...

It can get pretty nippley...I mean, NIPPY there in the winter.

Lantern Art

Photobucket

The new Green Lantern movie is filming now and some of the concept art for the characters is starting to be released. The above character is named Kiliwog.

Photobucket

The Guardians.

Abin Sur and Tomar

Looks pretty close to the comic book versions.

Also, it was reported that Ryan Reynold's suit will be entirely CGI...so that should be visually interesting.

I wish I could get a CGI wardrobe.

Laundry would be so much easier to deal with...

Room with a view

This crafty Winscape technology would certainly make cramped quarters more interesting...

The potential scene options are pretty exciting. One day you could be looking out at the fall colors on the East coast, the next day you could be speeding through space.

Not to mention the porn options (cause you know someone is already working on THAT).

I wonder if they have a Cheesecake Factory Display Case scenario?

Rick in a Box

Photobucket

I'm not sure why Ricky Martin is sleeping naked in a well-lit glass box and sprouting tribal tattoos all over his body, but I'm very okay with it.

I'd totally get some tattoos if I could bypass the whole needle-thing and just wake up with them, already magically applied, after a relaxing night's sleep in Ricky's Sharper Image Tattoo Trundle Box.

That scenario is much more appealing to me on so many levels...

Top of the Tube

Photobucket

One of the few advantages to having a bad romance...

The Francis Lawrence-directed music video for Lady Gaga’s single “Bad Romance” has become the most viewed video on YouTube of all time! The clip has gained over 178,000,000 views since its release in November.

It really is my favorite video that she has made, so far. I know I've watched it a bazillion times myself, which I'm sure really helped push it over the top.

I do hope my check is in the mail...

Here is a cool behind-the-scenes look at the making of "Bad Romance":

Vogue: Glee-style

Photobucket

If any of you missed the Sue Sylvester version of "Vogue" last night after the premiere of Glee...here it is:

They really did a great job recreating Madonna's original video, right down to to the sets, camera angles, and costumes.

Who knew Jane Lynch, of all people, would make such a good Madonna?

Delicious!

Book her, Dano!

Photobucket

I'm in the middle of reading Chelsea Handler's new book "Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang" and, just like her talk show, it's hilarious!

If you like her sense of humor and snarky persona, I highly recommend you treat yourself to her latest New York Times bestseller.

She writes like she talks and that's a very good thing.

Goodbye, Julia

Photobucket

Very sad news this weekend...

Dixie Carter, who was already a Broadway and television veteran when she found perhaps her perfect part as Julia Sugarbaker, the wiser and wittier half of a pair of Southern sisters who ran an Atlanta interior decorating firm in "Designing Women," has died, her publicist said Sunday. Carter died Saturday in Houston of complications of endometrial cancer.

"Designing Women" is one of my all-time favorite sitcoms and Dixie Carter's rapier-sharp delivery was one of the reasons why. Although each of the characters on that show was funny in their own way, no one could dive into a speech and drive their message home like Dixie.

This is the perfect example of what I mean....

She will be missed.

New Sex Trailer

Photobucket

The new "Sex and the City 2" trailer was just released...

That ride across the desert looks like it might have some serious camel-toe potential.

Ronald McCriminal

Photobucket

This is the animated short film that won the Academy Award this year. It is made up entirely of corporate brands and logos and follows two Michelin Tire men who are in pursuit of a new terrorist...Ronald McDonald.

It's pretty cool and there are some hilarious logo and character cameos throughout the film behaving and talking just a "wee" bit differently than we're used to from their classic ads.

Little Piggies

Photobucket

I have a feeling that products like "Bacon Baby" just "might" be contributing a bit to some of the recent concerns about child obesity. Of course, it sounds healthy...

Introducing Bacon Baby, an infant formula with the complex bacon fats and nutrients that babies need for optimal brain development and wellness.

If that info is true, why not just recommend that mothers buy actual sows to nurse their children?  It would seem to be a much more efficient way to get your baby those "complex bacon fats and nutrients" that they need.

Photobucket

Of course, once your giant child gets a bit older, they can waddle on over to KFC for their new health-conscious "Double Down" sandwich.

The bun-free ("so meaty, there's no room") sandwich features two pieces of bacon, two slices of melted cheese and "Colonel's Sauce" - which KFC officials said is a "zesty mayonnaise" -- slathered between two chicken filets, either original recipe (540 calories and 32 fat grams per KFC.com) or the slightly slimmer grilled version (460 calories and 23 fat grams).

It does sound grossly satisfying as a snack after a long night of drinking.

I wonder if the Double Down combo comes with a set of heart paddles?

Street Fighters

With summer just a few months away, it means that some of the big action movies are headed into theaters very soon. Here are two that I'm looking forward to seeing...

The first is Salt, with Angelina Jolie.

Say what you will about her personal life, but very few gals can kick-ass as hardcore as she does in a movie.

The second film is Knight and Day, with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.

Although he still creeps me out in interviews, I will say that, like Popcorn and Sour Patch Kids, Tom Cruise is best enjoyed in the theater doing what he does best...

Being crazy and driving captive women around the world to protect his identity.

If Katie Holmes had taken over the Cameron Diaz role, the movie would just have been a flashy travel documentary.

Release the Kraken!

Photobucket

I don't know why they didn't cast Carrot Top as the creature in the new Clash of the Titans...

Photobucket

They're practically twins.

I saw the new movie this weekend and..it was okay. If you haven't seen the original, you'll probably enjoy it more. Although, I'm not sure that it's worth seeing the 3D version. The effects weren't that good and you could save yourself half the admission price and see it in 2D and have almost the same experience.

Photobucket

The original film starred Harry Hamlin as the toga-wearing hero. In the new one,  we get an armor-clad Sam Worthington (he of Avatar-fame) brooding his way through the scenery.

Photobucket

The original Zeus was played by Sir Laurence Olivier (he must have needed the money to add a rumpus room to his home at the time).

Photobucket

The remake has Liam Neeson taking over the role in a very shiny suit of armor.

Photobucket

I really wish they had brought back Maggie Smith as Thetis, from the original. I love her in the Harry Potter movies, but she really could have brought a bit of much-needed class to this sparkly new version.

Photobucket

The new Kraken (the beast that is supposed to destroy the humans) is certainly a CGI-extravaganza and is just a "wee" bit more scary than the original stop-motion version below...

Photobucket

The story is kind of lame and really strays from the original. But, if you're in the mood for a night of cheesy action, a big scary monster, and very little substance...

Go see Carrot Top perform in Vegas.

Then rent Clash of the Titans when it comes out on DVD in the fall.

Watch her

Photobucket

Jennifer Hudson's new Weight Watchers regime really seems to be working...

Jennifer Hudson showed off her more svelte physique at a Weight Watchers event today as the new spokeswoman for the weight loss program. But the actress, singer and new mom is setting even higher goals for herself. She's already lost some weight on the program which she started a few months ago, but plans to share her dieting experiences.

Photobucket

She's always been pretty and has a great voice...so, as long as she doesn't go too far with it, I think she's really gonna shine even brighter than she already does when she reaches her goal.

Political tip

No wonder the Healthcare debates took so long...

Photobucket

Certain topics really should be considered inappropriate and off-limits.
