They'll be back

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Avengers movie was released...

I'm holding judgement...for now.

Charisma

Photobucket

I've never heard of Charisma bedding, but evidently Eddie Cibrian (Mr. LeeAnn Rimes) is getting very acquainted with them as their new spokesmodel.

Here is an on-set video he did during the photo shoot.

Someone like her

Photobucket

Adele is really having a great year and I couldn't be happier for her. She's got one of the most amazing voices out there today and, underneath all of the glitz and glamour, she seems like a very grounded and down-to-earth person.

Photobucket

Billboard recently released a video of one of her earliest performances as she was just getting discovered in the UK in 2008.

She may have just looked like an ordinary gal from anywhere...

But, she's always had that voice and talent.

Untold sTori

As you'll see by this "Very Special Episode" of Hoarders, it's obvious to everyone that Tori Spelling has a problem.

She hoards gays.

See Madonna and Lady Gaga...help is out there.

New Hobbit video blog...

Photobucket

Peter Jackson has released a third video blog from the set of the new Hobbit movie being filmed in New Zealand. Much of it focuses on the new Hobbits in the film (above).

I really enjoy these behind-the-scenes peeks.

Amy Winehouse

Photobucket

Some very sad, yet, not unexpected news....

Singer Amy Winehouse, infamous for erratic public behavior, arrests and drug problems, was found dead at her apartment in London Saturday, the UK Press Association reported. She was 27.

As difficult as it was to watch her downward spiral in the media the past few years, it was definitely hardest on her.

Hopefully she will finally have some peace.

Girl fighting

Photobucket

Footage has started to show up from the failed Wonder Woman pilot and, as awful as some people say it was, from this clip, I don't really think it looks that bad (especially the second fight scene between WW and a group of thugs).

UPDATE: The studio took down the video, but you can still see a clip of it here, so far.

Adrianne Palicki was definitely a bit more aggressive with her magic lasso and running bad guys than the beloved Lynda Carter used to be back in the day, as you'll see by this clip.

"You know he's very dangerous. You must tell me....please."

A needle to the neck might have been more effective, but certainly far less polite.

Andrew Spidermin

Photobucket

New photos and the first trailer have been released for the upcoming remake The Amazing Spider-man, played by Andrew Garfield.

Here is the trailer:

Well...it looks just like the other Spider-Man movies, but with Sally Field playing his Aunt this time.

I do like her.

I really like her.

My Fiona

Lisa Kudrow's popular online web-series, Web Therapy, is now a new half-hour series on Showtime Tuesday nights. If you haven't seen it before online, then you should try to check it out now. She plays an unlicensed therapist who does uncomfortable 10-minute online therapy sessions with people from her home computer.

Here is a preview of the show...

I love her and really need to get Showtime!

If you'd like to see some of her best online episodes with Meryl Streep and Julia Louis Dreyfus, check them out here.

Stop Believing

Sue Sylvester has a few things to say about Glee: The 3D Concert Movie that comes out in theaters on August 12th...

And she also wrote this letter:

Photobucket

I don't think her ranting antics to keep the public away from the "tone deaf, howler monkeys" are going to do much good. I mean, the entire cast of Glee is in it, including Darren Criss (seen here at the Harry Potter premiere in London).

A lot of people like Little Boy Blue.

Hallowed Ground

Photobucket

I guess I wasn't the only one who saw the new Harry Potter movie this past weekend...

With an astounding estimated worldwide box office total of more than $476 million, Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2” shattered multiple domestic and international box office records in a history-making opening weekend.

I really enjoyed it and am kinda sad that there won't be another one coming out in a year or so like we're used to.

I'll bet Warner Bros. is gonna send J.K. Rowling a lovely fruit basket filled with cash this week and ask her if she's considered, possibly, writing just one more book.

Which they'll immediately break up into 5 more movies.

Must it?

Photobucket

I know he's been through a lot and probably needs a break...

Photobucket

But look how sad SHE is...must it all really end now?

I don't want it to.

I've enjoyed each of the Harry Potter movies over the years and am really sad that this will be the last one. It is truely one of the best movie franchises ever produced and I'm going to miss visiting this magical world every couple of years.

Photobucket

I'm gonna miss watching the always wonderful Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall (although I hear she gets a much bigger part in this last film, so I'm really looking forward to seeing that!).

Photobucket

I'm also going to miss Alan Rickman's drawn....out...line...readings as Professor Snape. That guy can convey more distain with one syllable than most people can conjure up in a lifetime.

Photobucket

I'm gonna miss them all and am SO looking forward to seeing the movie this weekend. I can't believe we've been watching these films since 2001. The kids were so young and have surprisingly matured quite nicely into their roles.

If you've forgotten just how young they were, watch this video that shows clips from all of the Potter movies from the beginning...

I'm getting a bit verklempt.

Talk amongst yourselves...I'll give you a topic.

The Golden Girls were neither Golden nor, technically, girls.

Discuss.

The reviews have been really good so far (and I'm only skimming them because I don't want to know any details or spoilers) and I have a feeling it just might make some money at the box office this weekend.

I know they're getting some from me.

Would.....not......miss...........it.

Training Day

Melissa McCarthy (from Bridesmaids and Mike and Molly) is announcing the Emmy Nominations this morning, so she decided to get some tips on how to do that from last year's announcer, Joel McHale...

That's McFunny.

Holmes and YoYo

Here is the new trailer for the upcoming Sherlock Holmes 2: Game of Shadows...

I haven't seen the first one yet, but I hear there was a lot of slo-mo fighting and things blowing up. The sequel looks like it took the "if it ain't broke" road for round two.

The kids seemed to enjoy the first one, so that's probably best.

Jolly Ranchers

Photobucket

It looks like a new Dallas series is coming to TNT next summer...

The plot for the updated version tells the story of the Ewing descendants, John Ross Ewing, son of JR (played by Larry Hagman in the original series) and his ex-wife Sue Ellen (Linda Gray), and his cousin Christopher Ewing, the adopted son of Bobby (played by Patrick Duffy).

Duffy, Gray and Hagman all reprise their roles in the series, and TNT has tapped "Desperate Housewives" alums Josh Henderson and Jesse Metcalfe to play John Ross and Christopher, respectively. Jordana Brewster's taking the role of the love interest, Elena.

I can't wait to not watch this.

The journey continues....

If you enjoyed Peter Jackson's first video blog from the set of The Hobbit, you'll definitely enjoy the new one he just released. Especially the gorgeous location scouting they do throughout New Zealand.

I highly recommend enlarging the video screen while watching.

The mountain vistas and landscapes are breathtaking.

Exciting!

The Oscar Lady

Photobucket

Can you believe Meryl Streep has been nominated 16 times for an Oscar (more than anyone in history) and has only won twice? She's always so consistently good that, over time, I believe people just think "Oh, Meryl gets nominated all the time...let's just vote for that Marisa Tomei instead."

Well, the first trailer for her new movie, The Iron Lady, was just released yesterday and everyone is already buzzing about Meryl's next Oscar for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher (who, in this trailer looks kinda like Faye Dunaway in Mommie Dearest).

I'm sure Meryl will be great and will likely get nominated for it.

She just better hope that Justin Bieber doesn't get nominated for Never Say Never this year too.

That young lady has quite a dedicated fan following.

Scranton Cheese

Photobucket

Look who's joining the cast of The Office in the fall...

"James will reprise his role as Robert California, this uber-salesman that has a power to convince and manipulate, like a high-class weirdo Jedi warrior,” said Paul Lieberstein, one of the series’ executive producers and a series regular. "He'll have been hired over the summer as the new manager, but within hours, got himself promoted. Within days, he took over the company. James has an energy that is completely his own, and ‘The Office’ has no tools for dealing with this guy. We're thrilled he's joining our cast."

Photobucket

Although I'm sad that he's taking over for Kathy Bates' hilarious character, Jo Bennett (I'll be watching her on Harry's Law), I'm really excited that James is joining the cast. I've missed him as Alan Shore when he was on Boston Legal.

Maybe he'll end up having Denny Crane as his lawyer.

That would be heaven.

Sheer heaven.

Con Air

Photobucket

Some people really do come with too much baggage....

19-year-old Maria del Mar Arjona tried to break her husband out of a Mexican prison during a conjugal visit by stuffing him inside a suitcase and rolling him out of jail.

He would never have fit inside the overhead bin.

Box Office Prime

Photobucket

Some big movie news today...

The kids seemed to really enjoy the new Rock'em Sock'em Robots flick:

Michael Bay's robot actioner should hit $181M through the Fourth of July. Combined with the domestic result, TF3 becomes Hollywood's third highest grossing worldwide debut ever with $416M global cume for its first 7 days.

I haven't seen it yet...but plan to check it out in 3-D sometime soon.

Photobucket

Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides crossed $1 billion in global box office Saturday and is now the 8th film in history to reach the $1B threshold.

I haven't seen that yet either...seems I might be the only one.

Photobucket

Universal's "Bridesmaids" is expected to pass "Sex and the City" today to become the highest-grossing R-rated female comedy ever. With $152.9 million through Sunday, "Bridesmaids" is also producer Judd Apatow's most successful movie.

That I did see and really loved. Happy that it's doing so well.

Maybe the Bridesmaids sequel should add a couple robots and a pirate...

It could be HUGE!

Happy 4th!

To think that, to this day, there are still people who don't believe that Liberace was really gay.

He was just....colorful.

Katie and Chelsea

I'm not sure how I missed this last year, but I found a really fun interview of Chelsea Handler on @Katie Couric.

I do enjoy her.
