Although Prop 8 didn't turn out well, I'm VERY happy with the presidential results!
Six months ago, I honestly believed that there was no way that there were enough rational, educated and open-minded people across the United States that, in this day and age, would actually elect a woman or an African American as president...no matter how qualified they might be.
I am not only happy that I was wrong, but find that I have a little bit of something back that, honestly, I haven't had for many people in this country for a very long time...
Hope that people can change.
I've really missed that.
