Ellen gives advice

Ellen DeGeneres gave the commencement speech to the graduating class of Tulane University in New Orleans (the first class to graduate after hurricane Katrina) this past weekend and, as usual, she was hilarious...and quite touching.

I've always liked her sense of humor, mainly because she proves that you don't have to be hurtful or mean to get a laugh and that, sometimes, you just have to risk it all and be true to yourself and others in order to be the best person that you can be each day on this planet.

The world should take a lesson.

  3. As you well know, I'm always weeks behind. But thanks for this. She makes me weep and laugh hard enough to spew my coffee...all at the same time. Now THAT's talent!

  4. I know...Ellen always makes me smile. It's one of the reasons I record her show daily and watch it before bed each night. A good way to end the day.

As long as people play nice, I won't have to stop this car.
