Green Lantern finally opens today and it's the second movie of summer that I've been looking forward to seeing. I saw Super 8 this week and, although it was enjoyable in many ways, I was a bit disappointed in the second half, so would consider it a good matinee (definitely worth seeing for the kid's performances, but maybe not worth $10).
So, as much as I'm looking forward to Green Lantern, I'm trying to go in with lower expectations and hoping for the best.
However, I'm still very excited!
