I thought Madonna did a pretty bang-up job with her half-time show during the Super Bowl. No one expected her to sing live, which was fine. She put on a great show with lots of energy and, other than the middle-finger faux pas from M.I.A., really put on a fun show.
As far as stand-out commercials, the only one I really enjoyed was this "Brotherhood of Man" musical number from NBC and the various casts of their shows...
It sure beats those awful GoDaddy.com commercials.
I also saw the movie Chronicle this weekend and really enjoyed it.
The shaky-cam filming is a bit distracting early on, but they switch it up later in the film so it's not so bad and makes the film much easier to enjoy. I thought they did a great job with the effects (especially with the flying scenes) and, overall, the story was pretty entertaining.
Enjoyable.
