The first trailer for the upcoming Leonard Nimoy documentary, For the Love of Spock (directed by his son, Adam Nimoy), was just released...

The film premieres Saturday at the Tribeca Film Festival’s television-oriented “Tune In” program. The film’s second Tribeca screening on April 18 will be followed by a panel discussion with Adam Nimoy, Zachary Quinto, “For the Love of Spock” producer David Zappone and critic Scott Mantz.

Adam Nimoy raised $662,640 last spring through a Kickstarter campaign to complete the documentary.

The project is aimed at celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Star Trek,” which aired for the first time on Sept. 8, 1966. Quinto, who portrayed Spock in the two latest “Star Trek” films, is narrating the doc.

I will definitely add this to my must-see list once it's released. He was awesome.

What?

I'm not crying....YOU'RE crying!
