Gal Gadot tweeted out the first picture of her back in costume while filming Wonder Woman 1984 in Washington, D.C. now.

Plus, a few shots of her filming some wire work on the streets today also appeared online...

Wonder Woman 2: Electric Boogaloo

The Wonder Woman sequel release date was announced today:

Diana Prince has a Christmas gift for you — but you can’t peek for 2 1/2 years. Warner Bros said today that its sequel Wonder Woman 2 starring Gal Gadot will crash into megaplexes and Imax theaters on December 13, 2019.

This pretty much sums up how I feel about that...

Batgirl

It was just announced that Joss Whedon will write/direct a solo Batgirl movie...

Batgirl is flying solo. The super-heroine is getting her own standalone movie from filmmaker Joss Whedon. Whedon is nearing a deal to write, direct, and produce an untitled Batgirl pic for Warner Bros. as part of its DC Extended Universe.

The Batgirl project will be the second movie from DC Films to star a female lead after Gal Gadot’s “Wonder Woman,” which opens June 2.

Whedon would be making a big move from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to its DC counterpart, having written and directed “The Avengers” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” for Disney-Marvel. He also created the television series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Angel,” “Firefly,” “Dollhouse,” and “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

This is very exciting news.

I enjoy just about everything that Joss Whedon has done, so far. He writes great characters (especially females) and always has an element of fun in his projects.

Can't wait to see how this all turns out!

Wonder Woman poster

The first look at the new Wonder Woman movie poster was released today by Gal Gadot, who plays the title character.

And they also just released the first trailer for the movie...

Jason Momoa's Aquaman appears to have a "little bit" of an attitude problem, which could be fun.

Here's hoping it's better than Batman v Superman.

The Wonder Woman movie finished shooting this week...





I know that Gal Gadot is likely moving right into filming Justice League: Part 1 (which started production a couple of weeks ago), so she's gonna be very busy this summer.

The Wonder Woman movie opens June 2, 2017.

Gal Gadot tweeted this out over the weekend to let everyone know that filming has started for the Wonder Woman movie (which also stars Chris Pine and Robin Wright).

They did a pretty good job with her new look from the film...

I'm glad that they're putting together the Justice League and really happy that we're getting a Wonder Woman movie after all of these years.

Marvel is gonna have some super competition for sure.

I'm very excited that they are adding Wonder Woman to the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie....

Warner Bros. has announced this morning that Gal Gadot, most well known for appearing in the "Fast and Furious" films, has landed the role of Wonder Woman/Diane Prince in Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman vs. Superman film. 

In a statement, Zack Snyder stated: "Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character." 

Batman vs. Superman will feature the return of Henry Cavill as Superman, facing off against Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Also starring Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne, the Zack Snyder-directed Batman vs. Superman hits theaters on July 17, 2015.

I think this indicates that Warner Bros. is FINALLY gearing up for a Justice League movie at some point soon.

It's about GD time...
