I know it's mean to scare people like this, but it's way funnier when it's not happening to you. In his defense, he did capture these over the course of an entire year. So it's not like he tormented her all in one day (which probably would have killed her).
Also, this girl has a natural horror movie scream that will just make you laugh...and possibly pee a little while doing so.
OMG...hilarious!
I'm terrible.

The Mane Event
The first picture of Meryl Streep from the upcoming movie/musical Into The Woods was released today.
Here is a bit about the story:
Meryl Streep ventures “Into the Woods” as the Witch who wishes to reverse a curse so that her beauty may be restored. The humorous and heartfelt musical, a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, explores the consequences of the quests of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel—all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, and the witch who cast a spell on them.
It looks like the curse took away her manicurist and Wella Balsam as well.
The film also stars Johnny Depp, Chris Pine, Emily Blunt (who worked with Meryl in The Devil Wears Prada), and Anna Kendrick. It opens Christmas 2014 and is being directed by Rob Marshall (who directed Chicago).

Let the Quidditch begin!
Look at this video of a "Man On A Broom" that a guy created for a British TV show. It looks very Harry Potterish and very real...
That would make the morning commute SO much easier.

More Thor
A new Thor: The Dark World trailer was released today and, like the others, it's looking pretty cool...
Exciting!

Big Ass Spider
That's a pretty accurate move title and, NO, I won't be seeing this.
Ever.

She's baaaaack
Well, it seems that the last two "farewell tours" just weren't enough...
Cher is ready to hit the road on the "Dressed to Kill" tour, her first trek in eight years.
The legendary performer made the announcement Monday morning on NBC's "Today" show, telling the hosts that it won't be easy. "The road is horrible, but the concerts are great," she told Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie. "I understand why guys in bands tear up hotel rooms and throw TVs out the windows, because it's a very lonely place. The only time you have fun is at the concerts."
The tour will visit 49 cities across North America starting March 22 in Phoenix and will include stops in major markets including Washington D.C., Philadelphia, NYC (Brooklyn and East Rutherford, NJ), Seattle and Los Angeles before wrapping up July 11 in San Diego.
Cher's last tour lasted three years, included 605 shows, and grossed $250M, according to Wikipedia. (The Guinness Book Of Records says the gross was actually $394M.)
I, for one, want Cher to keep doing as many "final" tours as she's willing and able to do.
You know why?
Because she's CHER, gad'dammit!!

Avada Kedavra!!
Hello nightmares....
Can you imagine living every moment of your day in constant, unshakable fear of running into a evil-looking red-haired clown holding a bouquet of balloons?
Well, that is the exact description of daily life for the residents of Northampton, England, who are presently being terrorized by a "spooky clown" of unknown origin. Local police have issued a warning following multiple sightings of the costumed creep — or creeps.
If I looked out the window and saw that visual...the paramedics would need to rent a backhoe to clean out my underwear.
That's messed up.

Know your audience
The CW released their new promos for the upcoming season of Arrow.
They are obviously focused heavily on the deep character subtext and upcoming twists and turns in the story.
They know exactly what makes their fanbase tune in weekly.
A very gripping....plot.

Sir-ounded
Looks like Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen made a new friend during a break of their various shows in New York.
Elmo doesn't look quite so...tickled.

The Brood
It looks like Justin Timberlake and Jake Gyllenhaal have decided to skip their usual smiley-guy-next-door images and switch to more of a I'ma-kill-you-or-take-all-of-your-spare-change poses for these new magazine covers.
I think they might have taken a few editorial tips from this guy...
Chill, bro.

Bubble, bubble
One of the first pics of the three main cast members (Angela Bassett, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates) from the upcoming season of American Horror Story: Coven has surfaced and they all look equally bewitching.
Here is the latest teaser trailer...
Very cool.
The first episode airs October 9th.
Can't.Wait.

Raggedy Man
Although I've never been to the annual Burning Man festivites out in the Nevada desert, I'm pretty convinced that I'd probably enjoy flying over it (like this cool drone video) more than actually staying there.
It looks like a scene from Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.
The only way you'd likely get me out there in the five hundred degree heat for a week is if Tina Turner herself was actually running the event.
And I had an air-conditioned camper with AC, cable, shower, and a pool.
Yeah, I like to rough it.
Really.....rough.
UPDATE: After reading this guys first experience at Burning Man and looking through his amazing photography, I might actually consider going sometime just to be a part of it.
I'd still require the camper with the above requirements (I could give up the pool and possibly Tina Turner), but it's a definite possibility...one day.

Sew Tricky
J.J. Abrams finally released a longer trailer to his "mystery project" which, it turns out, is actually not promoting a new TV show or movie at all.
It's a book based on a concept that they developed at Bad Robot.
I'm a bit disappointed that it's not a new film project.
Of course, I'm sure he has the rights to his own concept and, likely, the book.
So...it's only a matter of time before Benedict Cumberbach will end up playing the lead in the movie who J.J. will swear is definitely not going to turn out to be Kahn.
Or will he?
For now, his lips are literally sealed on the subject.

Lead foot
The trailer for the upcoming remake of Robocop was just released and it looks pretty much like you'd expect it to...
Not sure whether I want to see this or not. I'll wait for reviews and see whether it merits a theater visit or, more likely, just add it to the ever-growing OnDemand list.
Time will tell...

Spin City
The official trailer for the upcoming Sandra Bullock-George Clooney movie Gravity was just officially released and it looks just as harrowing as the clips that were posted previously...
I hope the studio marketing department is distributing appropriate quantities of Dramamine to each of the chains that have committed to showing the film.
If they don't..I would definitely not want to be on any of those theater cleaning crews.

You're in a snow globe
Old Spice is about to promote their "Fresh Collection" product line and, with that, comes a new round of hilariously-weird commercials with an NFL-focused theme and real players.
And, of course...very twisted endings, which are enjoyable.
This one is my favorite...
Just sitting there with his legs in the giant lizard's mouths...no biggie.
These still aren't as funny as the "I'm on a horse" series, but they are getting very close.

Welcome to Downton
The trailer for the upcoming season of Downton Abbey was finally released...
They've obviously focused on more upbeat music and visuals to let viewers see that the new season won't be a big box of downers after the two major deaths last season.
Thankfully, they didn't show anyone twerking.
We all know how the British feel about that new phenomenon...

Labor Day Indeed
Well, the leads for the film adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey were announced today...
Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam has officially been set to play Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey, the Universal Pictures and Focus Features adaptation of the runaway bestselling book series.
This follows by minutes the official casting of Dakota Johnson to play the role of Anastasia Steele.
Grey is the young, wealthy industrialist with a dark past who favors S&M relationships. His loyalty to the dominant-submissive subset is tested when he meets the young college graduate Anastasia Steele, who seems like the perfect girl for him.
I haven't read the books and don't really know much about either of the actors, which is sometimes a good thing.
However, I do know from all the media attention over the past year that there are a lot of folks out there waiting for this steamy movie to hit the big screen.
I have a feeling that the August 1st release date is gonna result in the world welcoming a slew of brand "spanking" new babies about nine months later.
