Egggscellent.

Mutanty
Well, the first trailer for the new, and possibly unnecessary, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie was released today.
It seems pretty violent and not-so-kid-friendly, which I thought was the big demo for these wacky shelled-kickers.
Plus, they're a little creepy looking, which should help the kids with their nightmares.
I wish I cared…but I just don't.
It'll probably make millions.

Jupiter Two
The full trailer for the Wachowski's latest Sci-fi extravaganza, Jupiter Ascending, was released today...
It looks pretty frickin' cool. Plus, I really like Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, the Wachowski's films...
And pointed ears.
So, it's kind of a combo package for me.
I'm in.
The movie opens July 18th.

ATMmmmm
Uh...why haven't I heard of these new ATMs that dispense cupcakes AND that one of them is right here in Chicago?!!
The Cupcake ATM in Chicago is Sprinkles’ second Cupcake ATM. The first one is in Beverly Hills. The machine looks a lot like an ATM, except it dispenses cupcakes, not cash. When you get near it, a song starts playing. “I love Sprinkles!” a voice singsongs. “Yes, it’s true!”
Using the touch screen, you pick the cupcake you want. The dozen or so choices include: S’mores, Cinnamon Sugar, Ginger Lemon, Gluten-Free, Vegan, and regular Red Velvet, Chocolate Coconut, Strawberry, and Peanut Butter Chocolate.
I wonder if I can just call up Dean Cain and have him bring me one instead?
That would be so much better for me.

Please do!
Now this is exciting news....
HBO‘s The Comeback, is eyeing a comeback. HBO is in discussions with the series creators/executive producers Michael Partick King, who also served as director, and Lisa Kudrow, who toplined the show, about doing a new installment almost a decade after the first season. It is being envisioned as a limited/event series.
The Comeback, which debuted in June 2005, was a docu-style single-camera comedy starring Kudrow as washed-up sitcom actress Valerie Cherish, who gets a reality show documenting her attempt at a career comeback with a role on a new sitcom. Although the series didn’t go beyond the 13-episode first season, it did earn three Emmy nominations, including a lead actress nom for Kudrow and a directing nom for King.
OMG...I loved this show. It was so funny and, although painful to watch at times (because she always managed to get humiliated in some way every show), you were usually crying most from laughing so hard.
Plus, Lisa Kudrow is always just so frickin' hilarious.
I have really missed Valerie Cherish and Aunt Sassy.
Here's a little taste...
UPDATE 4/4: HBO has picked up The Comeback for six episodes….
A source in HBO's Manhattan office confirmed what has been widely rumored for weeks now. "The Comeback " is coming back! Lisa Kudrow's shortlived but much-loved series will receive a six-episode reboot -- "Revisitting 'The Comeback' 10 Years Later" -- and will feature all of the main characters, including Kellan Lutz, Malin Ackerman, Mickey, Paulie G., etc.
Yeah!!!

Superman P.O.V.
If you've ever wondered what Superman's view might be during an average day...this is probably a pretty accurate account...
Entertaining.

David Brenner
Some very sad news over the weekend...
Comedian David Brenner, a regular on Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show," has died after a battle with cancer, a family spokesman said Saturday. He was 78.
Brenner was a staple on Carson's late-night show, appearing more times than any other guest -- 158. Even in death, he kept the jokes coming.
Brenner's final request, according to family spokesman Jeff Abraham, was to have $100 in small bills tucked in his sock -- "just in case tipping is recommended where I'm going."
His gravesite will read: "If this is supposed to be a joke -- then I don't get it!,"
I used to watch he and Joan Rivers whenever they would appear on a show (and they often worked together).
A very funny man who will be greatly missed.

And….go!
This is a pretty entertaining interview with Sarah Jessica Parker, who answers 73 questions in five minutes for Vogue magazine, while also giving a quick tour of her cool brownstone in New York.
I appreciate efficiency and multi-tasking.
Well played.

Zach Galifianakis really can get anyone to do this faux talk show. If you haven't seen any of the others before, you definitely should go here and enjoy.
Entertaining.

The Normal Heart
HBO released a teaser trailer for their upcoming movie, The Normal Heart. It's got a great cast (Julia Roberts, Mark Ruffalo, Jim Parsons, Matt Bomer) and looks like it's gonna be a tear-jerker.
I may just have to keep HBO after all.
The Normal Heart premieres May 25th.

Pale Face
Angelina Jolie, as Maleficent, is looking pretty cool on the new latest cover of Entertainment Weekly.
Although, I doubt she'll be doing any Bain de Soleil ads anytime soon.

Slumber Party
Kathy Griffin spends some time in bed with Joan Rivers...just chatting.
Among their topics...Bruce Jenner, Mandy Moore, Oprah, Tom Cruise, and granny panties.
And, it's very entertaining as you'd expect.
I enjoy them.

National Pancake Day
Had I known earlier that today was such a big holiday, I would have taken the day off and spent it at IHOP with my good friends, Dwayne Johnson and Mrs. Butterworth.
I hate to miss a free short stack.
Devil!

Adele Dazeem
The best parts of the Oscars last night were Cate Blanchett...
Pink and her song (she always rocks!)...
John Travolta and his horrible toupe butchering Idina Menzel's name..
"Please welcome the wickedly talented Adele Dazeem."
To which "she" replied shortly thereafter...
And, of course, this tweet...
I thought Ellen did a great job. They should just let her, Amy Poehler, and Tina Fey host everything.
