No joke
Jared Leto uploaded a new pic on Twitter today to show off his new Joker body for the upcoming Suicide Squad movie.
It seems that even villains make time, between crimes, to get to the gym.
This pic is, thankfully, a lot less disturbing than the last pic he uploaded.

Suzanne Crough
Sad news today...
Crough, 52, played the tambourine-playing Tracy Partridge on the series that ran from 1970-74 on ABC. The child actress had roles on other 1970s shows including Mulligan’s Stew, Wonder Woman and Goober And The Ghost Chasers, but it was Tracy Partridge for which she was best known.
The Partridge Family was one of those fun shows that I loved watching growing up, so it's sad to hear of her passing at such a young age.

Fight for Tomorrow
A new trailer for Tomorrowland was released this week...
Definitely a lot more action than the previous trailers...it's really looking very cool.

Batman v Superman: First Teaser Trailer
Zach Snyder released the first trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice tonight, after a bad pirated copy was released online earlier today...
Very dark and foreboding.
Enjoyable.
Grace and Frankie
Another fun comedy series, this one with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, is about to show up on Netflix very soon...
If Grace and Frankie is anywhere near as funny as Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, then I am definitely all in!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer #2
Squeeee!!
A new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released today and it has a big focus on the original crew of Han, Luke, and Lia...plus lots of cool new footage.
I like the old school tone of this one and the fact that, although there are some great visual effects, it's not a crappy CGI-fest like the last set of three new films that were released. It's obvious that J.J. Abrams listened to fans and used a lot of real creatures and locations like the original films.
Exciting!!
OH...and this edited video of Matthew McConaughey's reaction to this trailer is hilariously perfect...

Dopey the dick
The Internets were abuzz yesterday over this leaked video of Dennis Quaid flipping out on a movie set...
Those that thought it might be fake assumed that Jimmy Kimmel was behind it (since he's famous for his pranks), but even he denied it today...
So, was it real?
Apparently not.
It turns out that Funny or Die was behind it all along...
I have to admit, the whole thing was pretty brilliant.
Well played, Funny Or Die...WELL played.

Hardly a petal
Katie Couric has done a very entertaining interview with Veep star, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, about the new season of the show and a variety of other fun topics...
Julia is definitely one of the funniest actresses around and can swear right up there with the best of them, which I always enjoy.

That's how you punch
A full trailer for Ant-Man was released today...
I'm still not sure about this one (seems like a silly superhero), but I do like the cast and the effects look pretty good.
Of course, I'll likely see it anyway.
I just like to pretend that there's a chance I won't.

Let the GAMES begin!
Jason Momoa and I (and his pecs) are very excited about the new season of Game of Thrones starting THIS Sunday.
Well, he's as excited as Khal Drogo can be...he was never one for expressing emotions that didn't involve some kind of strategically focused scowl.
He is also, as he Instagramed today, defending Hawaii's Mauna Kea volcano from construction of a giant telescope. Hence...the pic above.
PLUS, from one throne to another...a new season of Veep starts this Sunday night as well.
Sunday night is really starting to become Must See TV for me!

Flight Risk
It was confirmed today that a new version of the character Angel will be appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse..
It's official - Bryan Singer has confirmed exclusively to Empire that Angel will be in X-Men: Apocalypse, and that he'll be played by Ben Hardy.
Hardy, a former EastEnders star, was cast a while back, but his character name was withheld. But as the latest X-Men movie gets closer to production in Montreal, speculation has abounded for weeks that he would be playing Angel, a winged mutant who was one of the original X-Men, so Empire got on the phone with Singer and asked him for confirmation.
“Ben Hardy is Angel – I shall confirm it for you!” said Singer. “But he’s not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I’ll say…”
Although the Angel character has already appeared in X-Men: The Last Stand (played by Ben Foster above), it looks like this new character version might turn from working with the X-Men using his natural wings to working for Apocalypse (the baddie) as his alter-ego Archangel with new-and-improved knives for wings.
So, does this fate lie in store for Ben Hardy’s Angel? We’ll find out for sure when X-Men: Apocalypse, which reunites the First Class/Days Of Future Past gang of James McAvoy’s Professor X, Michael Fassbender’s Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique and Nicholas Hoult’s Beast, along with newcomers Hardy, Isaac, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp as Storm and Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, opens next year.
This could turn out to be very interesting...

Headliner
It was confirmed today that Kathy Bates will be joining American Horror Story: Hotel...
Showrunner Ryan Murphy confirmed news that the actress will be back for the FX anthology's fifth season, American Horror Story: Hotel.
"Kathy Bates is running the Hotel. #AHSSeason5," Murphy announced.
Starring Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Chloë Sevigny, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson, American Horror Story: Hotel will be the first season of the series from Murphy and Brad Falchuk without leading lady Jessica Lange.
Bates' return, which had been rumored for months, will mark her third season with the series after her co-starring roles in Coven and Freak Show. (Bates won an Emmy for her role in Coven.)
I'm so happy that she's returning for another season and hope that her character doesn't lose her head, literally, again (which has happened the past two seasons).
Although, even without a body, she still always manages to outshine most other actors around her.

Let it Snow
Seth Myers invited Jon Snow, from Game of Thrones, to a dinner party and, surprisingly, things got awkward very quickly...
In his defense, you can't really expect a guy who lives next to a giant ice wall with thieves and murders to readily engage in polite dinner conversation.
However, he definitely needs to work on his Charades game.
I can't wait for the new season of Game of Thrones to start this Sunday!

She's with us
The final Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer was released today and, like the others, it's looking pretty awesome with a bit more Black Widow kick-assery added into the mix....
I'm SO there on May 1st!!

Lunch Lady
The second trailer for Spy, starring Melissa McCarthy, was released today and it's just as funny as the previous Red Band trailer (without as much swearing, unfortunately)....
She always cracks me up and I'm really looking forward to seeing this when it opens on June 5th!
