Doctor Strange
EW has released a couple of the first images for the upcoming Doctor Strange movie starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
Since I don't really know anything about this Marvel character...I'm just gonna have to wait until a trailer comes out at some point this year to find out more.
But, I do enjoy movies dealing with magic.

Deadpool trailer
Well, the first one is finally here and I have to say...it's pretty brutal (yet funny) for a superhero movie.
Of course, I'll probably end up seeing it, regardless of how stabby it appears. Mainly because Ryan Reynolds is usually pretty entertaining.
The movie opens on February 12th.

That was weak, bro
A Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas made a TV commercial out of the security footage they had from a recent burglary...
That was awesome.
That was awesome.

Father Christmas
Downton Abbey has once-again partnered with ITV's "Text Santa" fundraiser and created another fun video short (like the one they did last year with George Clooney).
This one is about the search for someone to play Santa Claus for the kids in the Abbey. They are treated to auditions from the likes of a dirty-mouthed Gordon Ramsay, an indignant Jim Broadbent, Brenda Blethyn as DCI Vera Stanhope and Warwick Davis, who’s looking for a big payday. But Carson (Jim Carter) really wants the job.
The banter at the audition table is especially entertaining.
The new season of Downton Abbey begins on January 3rd.

Baby Taco Bell
With Star Wars: The Force Awakens open on every movie screen in the world right now, I thought it would be nice to step back in time a bit to enjoy the original Star Wars films in a new way.
Behold...the Bad Lip-Reading versions (featuring the voices of Jack Black, Bill Hader, and Maya Rudolph).

Depressed Couch Farts
Jimmy Kimmel has released another hilarious Celebrities Reading Mean Tweets...
Sarah Paulson's response was my favorite.
I enjoy these so.

Now, just me
Warner Bros. released three new individual character posters today for their upcoming Batman v Superman film...
It appears that Superman is giving his best "Blue Steel" look.
I have a feeling THAT is what will ultimately defeat Batman in the movie.

Eye of Newt
The next phase of Harry Potter-related films, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, has just released its first teaser trailer...
I love the HP movies...so am really looking forward to these starting up next year!
The magic returns on November 18th.

Star Trek Beyond trailer
The first teaser trailer for Star Trek Beyond was released online today...
You can definitely tell that the director of Fast and Furious has taken over because this trailer is unlike any other Star Trek trailer to date (it kinda feels closer to Guardians of the Galaxy than anything else).
I'll wait for the full trailer release before I decide whether that is a good thing or a bad thing.
Star Trek Beyond opens on July 22nd.

Apocalypse Now
The first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse was released last night...
It looks pretty good and its very interesting to see Game of Thrones' Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) playing Jean Grey.
I always enjoy these movies...so am definitely looking forward to this one!
The movie opens on May 27th.

Swinger
Who knew someone was making a new Tarzan movie? Not me. To prove it, here are the first pics and a trailer for The Legend of Tarzan which were released today...
It's got a good cast/director and looks like every other Tarzan movie that has been made in the past, but with Tarzan wearing jeans as he swings through the trees, rather than a loin cloth.
Those apes must have quite a seamstress hidden there in the jungle.
And a Gold's Gym.

Chelsea Does
Netflix just released the first trailer for Chelsea Handler's upcoming four-part documentary, Chelsea Does...
I am a big fan of her books and E! talk show Chelsea Lately and this trailer looks like more of the same style of humor and conversations that I'll likely enjoy from her as well.
Damn you Netflix for making me enjoy your new programming so much!
All four episodes become available on Netflix January 23rd.

More Crouching
The first Netflix trailer for the sequel Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny was released today...
I really enjoyed the first one and am glad they got Michelle Yeoh back for this sequel. I hope it's as cinematic and fun as the original.
We'll know soon enough, when it debuts on Netflix on February 26th.

Snow Day
The first teaser trailer for season six of Game of Thrones was just released...
Besides the fact that it appears that Jon Snow is definitely coming back, it's good to see that they are finally going to check in with Bran Stark, his half-brother.
That poor kid has been cooped up in the magic tree since the end of season 4 and, I don't believe, it has cable.
Unacceptable!

Is she with you?
The new Batman v Superman trailer was released last night...
I didn't enjoy this trailer as much as the first (this one seemed very chatty) and, so far, I find Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor to be super annoying.
These flying bug-people look...interesting.
However, the best moment of the whole trailer was Wonder Woman's entrance...
Me likeys!
The movie opens on March 25th.

Catnips
Black Panther joins Captain America and Iron Man on the upcoming new cover of Entertainment Weekly to promote Captain America: Civil War.
I don't know anything about that character, other than the fact that I know he's scheduled to have his own movie in a few years.
So...it should be interesting to find out what powers he has (giant claws and wielding an ancient scratching post?) and how he fits into the whole Marvel Universe.
