The second full trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's new thriller, Split, was released today...



Well...that seems very creepy and looks like a great role for James (Professor X) McAvoy.

Meat and Greet

Lady Gaga made her appearance on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden last night...



They were hilarious together...especially the part where he let her drive.

Enjoyable.

Gone Girls

Netflix just released the first trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life today....



Oddly, I don't think I've ever seen an episode of the original show, but it seems like something I might have enjoyed. Plus, it had Melissa McCarthy in it (and she's back for these too), so I might just be compelled to watch the four new episodes.

Hopefully they'll feature a scene where Melissa shouts a ranting monologue of profanities at someone...cause very few people do it better than she does.

And it ALWAYS makes me laugh.

It's a gift.

All four episodes will be available on November 25th.

Strangely Entertaining

Jimmy Kimmel invited Doctor Strange to entertain at his kid's birthday party...it didn't quite go as expected.

Logan trailer

The first trailer for the X-Men Wolverine-focused movie, Logan, was released today...



It's definitely got a different tone than most of the other X-Men movies (as it seems there are very few X-Men still alive) and also looks a bit like a dusty road trip movie with an elderly Professor Xavier and a young female Wolverine, X-23.

I'm not sure how I feel about that.

However...I will be going to see it anyway.

The movie slices its way into theaters on March 3rd.

The first teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was just released today....



It looks like the whole gang is back (including baby Groot), so should be a fun ride.

I'm in.

Sneak Peaks

Showtime released some Twin Peaks cast member interviews today...



I really enjoyed the first season of this show when it aired back in the day. Hopefully these new episodes will still capture the same weird, creepy-goodness of the original.

The series will air sometime in 2017.

True Story

Rogue One: NEW Trailer

A second trailer was released this morning for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story...



It's certainly looking epic and fun and maybe just a little bit darker than the last one.

And that's okay.

Can't wait to see it when it opens on December 16th.

Sea legs

The first photo of Mera: Queen of Atlantis from the Justice League movie was released today, as well as the concept art for her costume.



I'm guessing she'll be hanging out with Aquaman at some point during the film and, likely, playing a much bigger role when the solo Aquaman movie is released later.

Justice League opens November 17th, 2017.

John Wick: Chapter 2

The first trailer for John Wick: Chapter 2 was just released over the weekend....



The first one was surprisingly violent and, yet, entertaining...so I'm really looking forward to seeing this one when it comes out on February 10th.

The director of Logan (the Wolverine sequel I posted about yesterday) shared a photo today of Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier in the sequel...and it's not pretty.

He looks like the Ghost of X-Men Past.

Of course, his character has already died twice in two other X-Men movies and alternate realities...so, technically, he is kind of a ghost.

Superhero Fight Club 2.0

Here's a cheesy, but fun, new video that the CW put together to help promote the upcoming seasons of their DC-entric shows that now include season 2 of Supergirl...



It is kind of entertaining that Supergirl is SO excited to be a part of something that, obviously, can't actually hurt her.

New episodes of each of the super-shows start next Monday, October 10th.

Justice has prevailed

Jason Momoa confirmed that filming of the Justice League movie is complete in his grammatically - challenged Instagram posting.

Hopefully it'll allow him some free time to finally get back to the gym.

He's really let himself go.
