Well, it look's like Olivia Newton John is performing in Vegas for the summer...

Fans hopelessly devoted to Olivia Newton-John are in for some good news today — but don’t have a heart attack. The Australian singer-songwriter and actress (“Grease,” “Twist of Fate,” “Xanadu”) announced today “Summer Nights,” her residency at the Donny & Marie Showroom in the Flamingo beginning April 8, with tickets going on sale 10 a.m. Friday.

“I am thrilled to be able to call Las Vegas home for a while,” said Newton-John in a news release. “I have performed here many times through the years and have had nothing but wonderful memories, and I look forward to even more fun at the Flamingo.

“I am especially thrilled that a portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Center.” (Newton-John was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992.)

The production will feature an eight-piece band, and the setlist is expected to include early hits “Have You Never Been Mellow,” “Let Me Be There,” “If You Love Me, Let Me Know” and “I Honestly Love You,” as well as “Grease” fan favorites “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “You’re the One That I Want” and “Summer Nights” and 1980s hits “Xanadu” and “Physical.”

Dates for “Summer Nights,” all starting at 7:30 p.m., are April 8-12, May 6-10 and 27-31, July 1-5 and 29-31 and Aug. 1-2, 5-9, 12-16, 19-23 and 26-30. Tickets are $69, $99 and $139, with additional service fees. A special meet-and-greet package is $249.

I might just need to get myself to Vegas, baby!
