Boys to Men

Chris Colfer, from Glee, is featured in the new Rolling Stone article "Best Characters and Most Memorable Scene-stealers" arriving on newsstands today. Although he's technically a bit young to be sipping an Appletini in a leather bar, he's certainly not the first kid to try to shake things up a bit at the local watering hole.

I mean...Stewie Griffin is even younger.

The season finale of True Blood airs next Sunday, September 12th.

Hopefully the break will give cast members some time to hit the gym before they start filming season four. They obviously need it...

Rob Lowe appears on the cover of the new issue of Men's Fitness. I wonder if it'll sell as many copies as the issue featuring Kellan Twilight Saga Lutz did in July?

NCIS: Los Angeles has been renewed for another season.

I'm sure LL was cool J with that.

A new pic from the upcoming movie Thor has been released and finally shows Chris Hemsworth holding his mighty hammer. So to speak...

And finally, Cristiano Ronaldo is...

Well...nothing new on him other than he's still playing soccer and doing his best to keep fans happy.

I would like to say that Rob Lowe, like a few other men approaching 50, makes me think that with some quality time at the gym it's not too late to get into shape.

However, the picture makes it looks like he hasn't exhaled since "St Elmo's Fire." (Wrong cover for "Your Best Abs Ever.) He has such an intense expression on his face, as if he's about to save Metropolis, or can't figure out where he left his car keys. It also appears he's waxed everything above his wrists and navel. Someone is trying too hard.

I know...I was noticing the "waiting to exhale" expression on his face too. I think he probably used a bit of Madonna's Photoshop Day Cream after the shoot too.

Of course, he's braver than I would be to appear on a magazine cover with my shirt off.

I loved St. Elmo's Fire. I need to watch that again.
