Steve Jobs

Very sad news...

Steve Jobs, the visionary who led a mobile computer revolution with the creation of wildly popular devices such as the iPhone, was mourned Thursday by admirers and competitors as much of the world awoke to news of his death. He was 56.

"Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being," Apple said in a statement on its website.

He really did made a difference in the way the world interacts with technology. That's pretty impressive and quite a legacy to leave behind. I certainly enjoy my MacMini and my iPhone.

I really like this quote from him about work from his 2005 commencement speech at Standford University

"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do,"

"If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on."

Here is the full speech:

He will be missed.
