Oh, bartender?

 photo g_zpsx9bjotl7.png

Patrick Stewart went on The View today and surprised Whoopi Goldberg with an invitation to join the second season of Picard (the first seasons starts airing tomorrow on CBS All Access)...

That is awesome!

They are practically forcing me to subscribe to that damn channel.

Devils!

All the Bosleys

The first trailer for the upcoming Charlie's Angels movie was released today...

The trailer is okay, I suppose. It looks Charlie's Angels-ish.

It's written and directed by Elizabeth Banks, who I enjoy.

So, that's something.

Oh, and Patrick Stewart is in it too.

That's all I got.

We'll see if the next trailer is any better before it opens on November 15th.

Boldly keeps going

Deadline featured a very nice interview with Patrick Stewart today, where he discusses his career, Star Trek, and his final appearance as Professor Xavier in Logan...

He's had an amazing career and looks really good for 77 years old.

I'll have what he's having.

Professor X-lax

The director of Logan (the Wolverine sequel I posted about yesterday) shared a photo today of Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier in the sequel...and it's not pretty.

More on this from The Wrap...

“Professor X (Patrick Stewart) is old and not well. His powers are unstable and at times he doesn’t even remember Logan.”

He looks like the Ghost of X-Men Past.

Of course, his character has already died twice in two other X-Men movies and alternate realities...so, technically, he is kind of a ghost.

Can't wait to see this when it opens on March 3rd.

Bosom Buddies

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen spent a lot of time together over the past year, between filming X-Man: Days of Future Past and doing two plays in New York. Here is a very entertaining interview the two of them did together for a BuzzFeed Brews event in February…

They really do seem to enjoy each other's company, which is nice to see.

Sir-ounded

Looks like Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen made a new friend during a break of their various shows in New York.

Elmo doesn't look quite so...tickled.

Diesel fueled

Looks like we'll be getting another "Riddick" movie in the near future...

Vin Diesel is going back to the future to topline and produce a third chapter in the "Chronicles of Riddick" franchise, called "Riddick".

Plot details are being kept under wraps. But insiders say the third outing will hew closer in tone to the cult hit "Pitch Black" and will focus on the character of Riddick as opposed to the universe he inhabits, which was the case with the critically panned "Chronicles of Riddick." Still, "Chronicles of Riddick" earned $116 million worldwide and spawned a successful vidgame series.

I really liked "Pitch Black" and, although the sequel wasn't as good as the first, it did look great and featured Dame Judi Dench...so there's that.

"Starring Vin Diesel and Judi Dench" is not the kind of star-power promo that happens twice in one lifetime.

However, I do enjoy Vin and all his Dieselness...so, of course, I'll be there opening weekend.

Who knows which Sir (Patrick Stewart) or Dame (Ian McKellan) might show up in this sequel?

I can't wait to find out...

Make It Slow

Actor Robert Llewellyn (from the UK show "Red Dwarf") hosts a web show, Carpool, where he interviews celebrities while driving them around in a car. Can you imagine how expensive his car insurance must be?

In this segment, he interviews the recently knighted Sir Patrick Stewart. Surprisingly, Patrick doesn't attempt to take control of the "ship" and really seems to be enjoying their leisurely conversation as they, apparently, drive aimlessly throughout the English countryside.

"I'm just trying to drive you to the sto', Mr. Stewart."

Engage, Stewie!

This Sunday night's episode of "Family Guy" should be a lot of fun...

Stewie devises a plan to kidnap the cast of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" from the annual Quahog Star Trek Convention. He builds a transporter and beams them to his bedroom so they can all spend a fun-filled day together.

I can't believe that they were able to get the entire cast of TNG to do the voices for this episode. Although, besides Patrick Stewart, I suppose that most of their schedules were pretty open...

"Look at me...I've got GIRL-boobs" - Patrick Stewart

OMG...this is gonna be frickin' hilarious!

I'm still waiting for Seth MacFarlane to adopt me...
