I watched the movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower over the weekend and, I have to say, it has been a LONG time since I've been so pleasantly surprised and moved by a film. It's like a cross between The Breakfast Club and Ordinary People.
It has a great cast and the acting, directing, writing, and cinematography are top-notch. It's very funny and deeply affecting.

I can't believe that it wasn't nominated for any Academy Awards.
That's a crime.
Here is the trailer:
It's available on DVD and OnDemand now.
Don't miss it.
