D-lightful!

My summer has officially begun!

The new season of "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" is finally starting tonight on Bravo. It's always one of the highlights of my summer and always ends much quicker than I would like.

If "Two and a Half Men" is allowed to air twenty-two painful episodes each season, so should Kathy!

In case you missed this, here she is surprising Anderson Cooper last week for his birthday.

I love me some Kathy Griffin!!

Ok, so what did you think? Clearly something changed. New director or writers? I didn't think she had any. But something has changed in the format - more obviously scripted - A bit painful to watch at times - Here's hoping things even out. Interested to know your impressions

I still have it on my DVR (busy week), but from what I've heard from others sounds very much like what you're describing.

Let's see what the Lily Tomlin episode this week is like...hopefully it'll be closer to her usual stuff.

I'm sad that the one assistant is gone.

My expectations are very low...

Well, I watched the two new shows last night and, overall, I liked them. The first one felt a bit forced and Bette seemed like she was over it early. But, the Lily Tomlin episode was a lot of fun and closer to the old tone of the shows.

Hopefully they'll stay closer to that one moving forward. Time will tell...
