I hate when motorcycles drive between cars!
I don't think it should be legal and I can't believe that, as far as I know, it is.
I can't count the number of times I've almost hit a motorcycle that has, out of nowhere, come racing down between cars on the freeway. Oftentimes they are going very fast and, by the time you check your mirror and are about to change lanes....one is suddenly zipping by within inches of your side mirror.
Cars aren't allowed to squeeze by other cars between lanes or hop into the emergency lane just to keep moving....motorcycles shouldn't be allowed either. It's dangerous to everyone on the road.
No one likes to be stuck in traffic, but we car-people have to wait until things eventually clear up and start moving again...we have no choice.
Just because a motorcycle can maneuver (sometimes barely) between other cars, that shouldn't make it okay for them to squeeze by because they don't want to wait like the rest of us.
Grrrrr.....

It's illegal as all hec here in WA state - grab the tag # next time and call the cops
This kinda stuff drives me nuts - all the jerks who think the rules don't apply to them.
I hear ya'! I asked someone here and they said that it's currently legal. But, I may do some research of my own and see if that has changed. If so...I'm gonna keep a pad/paper handy and start writing some numbers down!
