Heading out in the morning...

Photobucket

Today was a catchup/chore day...did laundry so I'd have something to wear (unlike the statue above), went to the gym around the corner for the last time, then spent part of the day researching hotels for New Zealand (I learned my lesson with Melbourne) before meeting a couple of my South African friends out for an early dinner. We ate at a pizza place called MAD and it may be the best pizza I've ever had (and I've had a LOT of Pizza!). Very thin crust, light cheese, fresh veggies....all very tasty. It was good to see them again (my friends and the pizza) before heading out.

So, now I'm just starting to pack up my room and get ready to head to the airport around noon tomorrow for Melbourne. I've had a great time here in Sydney and there is so much more to do and see...but I gotta get a rollin'.

I'll miss YOU most of all, Nana.

I've been trying to work out a "Moose and Squirrel" reference to tie to the bronze statue, but it just won't come. Perhaps it's because I'm catching up on your blog with the phone pinched between my head and shoulder, while on a conference call with my accountant, as we listen to the melodic hold music at the Internal Revenue Service.

In the meantime, Thank you, thank you, Ken, for being one of the few people left who knows that Isis can't achieve lift-off (or a slurpee) without an incantation. And, I don't care if you contract food poisoning or e-coli, you always stop for the non condiditional $7 steak.

And after all that, I'm still on hold. Hopefully, they're not tracing the call to come seize my records, or arranging an audit. I'll let you know.

WOW!! Look at that man-bull's feet. He's gonna be a big boy when he grows up! Enjoyed your blogging from Sydney....looking forward to the next "leg" of your trip.

This is starting to feel like a webisode of the Great Race... only you are the only competitor. I wish I'd thought of this while you were still in Sydney... if I were producing this webisode, you'd've been made to consume one of those big ass spiders live on camera. But enough about you... more pictures of sculpted penises that are completely irrelevant to the associated blog post. I like penises.

Chris, you always could spot a man-creature with big feet a MILE away. Keen eye. And Joel...uh...you really need to start dating someone other than yourself. Bow Chikka Bow Bow....
